An 84-acre coastal sanctuary stretching from the Atlantic Ocean to the Matanzas River in Palm Coast, this preserve features a unique beach with coquina rock formations and a shoreline of crushed seashells. Trails wind through oak scrub and hardwood hammock, while paved walkways with observation decks overlook the Intracoastal Waterway. A Great Florida Birding and Wildlife Trail site, visitors may spot ospreys, bald eagles, manatees, dolphins, and sea turtles. Free admission, open sunrise to 11 PM.
