Ohio Street Beach is a small Lake Michigan beach in Streeterville, beside Jane Addams Memorial Park and the Jardine Water Filtration Plant, and a popular open-water training spot: swimmers follow the seawall half a mile north to the Oak Street curve. Lifeguards are on duty 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. from the Friday before Memorial Day to Labor Day, and swimming is allowed only then, in marked areas.
